What I learned while flying an HE-111 over Britain

Game is IL2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover with Team Fusion patch 4.3.2. 9 (World War 2 Combat flight simulator) 1. The Germans designed the HE-111 to be a "fast bomber" 2. Turns out they forgot Spitfires go faster 3. Turns out Hurricanes go faster 4. 7.7mm rifle rounds are tiny and funny up until the point you realize there are 8 firing at you at 800 rounds a minute. 5. You continue to think its kind of funny until you realize your entire plane is being perforated and poor Heins is slouched over his bomb sight 6. The British apparently don't like tea time being interrupted by bombers and will actively seek to kill you 7. Those black puffs in the air are not fire works celebrating your arrival 8. Turns out those black puffs can blow your wings off and its called flak 9. Your escort most of the time is busy worrying about themselves rather than you, infact your kind of an inconvenience to the fighter jocks 10. British people are angry And that's what I learned flying over the lovely English countryside in IL2, someone should come join me honestly, other than dieing in a fire ball the English countryside is quite beautiful from 9km up and through a bombsite. Honestly though flying all of these aircraft in this time period really gives you a feeling for what it was like, it only adds to my respect of the men who fought in these machines.
