Is my GPU future proof at this resolution?
I'm running the GeForce GTX 780 Ti on a 2560x1080, 21:9 monitor.
I want to be able to run games at 1080p, 60 FPS for a least 5 years. Is it sufficient?

9 RepliesThere's no such thing as future-proofing with PCs. The 780 Ti will be outdated this time next year once the new generation of cards is launched. Mind, games do seem to be advancing graphically somewhat on the slow side compared to advances in GPUs, so you'll be fine for at least 2 years. Maybe 3.
