Have a Monster?
I know that I made a free art thread before
But I need some new mind jogging
As I push forward in my journey as a concept artist sometimes I run dry of ideas. It's a common issue among artists and one that's easily overcome.
"Shut up and get to the point already Smi"
I'm headed to work right now but I would love if y'all spat out ideas for monsters to draw and challenge me with. These will be simple things
I'm not interested in sketching up anything other than creatures.

8 RepliesCreate something that has mouths on its hands, many eyes on the torso, many ears but more like amphibian ears on the bicep area, at the head only have a spine sticking out and make it appear the head was ripped off. Make the legs bulky as well as tree like. Three legs but make one torn open.

Well, there was the time when in a nightmare where I was in an endless black abyss and someone in dark thick-clothed (Armor, I guess?) took a big tomahawk and hit me repeatedly with it until I left my body and watched large quantities of blood and water pool out of my body while he went in for the final blow and water shot out of my split-in-half-head like a fountain. Hope that gives you something to work with.

My idea for a 'monster': An enormous ethereal being made out of geometric fractal formations. It's has a seemingly endless number of tentacles that appear to grow in size indefinitely (like a fractal set). The ends of these tentacles are smaller than subatomic particles and they grow to sizes that dwarf the distance across the observable universe, which alludes to the unimaginable overall size of this entity (a size which spans countless universes). It exists in 'hyperspace' as it is a higher dimensional creature, and swallows entire universes whole, casting them into oblivion. I'm sorry that would probably be very difficult to sketch. . .

4 RepliesWas looking at angels on the net earlier on. The seem -blam!-ing weird; I imagine them huge monstrosities with multiple dangly clawed arms and legs, dozens of wings made from silver blades, hollow, black eyes and masked faces, with pale white bodies filled with golden tendons and a gyroscope like thing with glowing eyes at the breast. Or, there were these scrapped monsters from bioshock infinite, of people fused with multiple versions of their younger or stranger selves from other universes. One mans face had his younger self fused to it.
