Don't listen to this kid gentlemen, he has no idea what he is talking about. This is how I met my wife. My cousin had his first real girlfriend, she broke his heart, it destroyed him. He is from the city, 2 hours away. So he decides to come up and stay with me and meet this girl he has been talking to from my area on the internet. So she comes over, he ends up going up stairs to cry. I start talking to her, we hit it off quite well, she is sexy as can be. Well, my cousin decides he wants to date her, me being the gentlemen I am decide I will let him have his shot. We both become good friends, best friends even; the girl and I. Well as things progress she isn't really interested in him. I tell him that I like her. He's cool at first, until i send her a $200 bouquet of flowers. This is where my cousin goes rage quit. He starts telling her all kinds of lies about me, some truth, which he didn't know she already knew. We got a laugh out of it because he showed his true colors. So I ask her to lunch not as a date but to hang out. We run into my recruiters at the time, Sgt. Balvanz and Sgt. Marshal. They talk some crap then boost me up to her. She gets a kick out of it. I tell her a few days later she is going to be my wife, mind you we had known each other only a month. She kind of giggles and gives me a smile. We start laughing, the kind of laugh where you connect and can't help but laughing when you look into each others eyes. So I tell her I am going to ask her father permission to date her. I take her and her family out to a local diner, I ask him after dinner if he would give me his blessing to date his daughter, he gives it. We start dating, about 2 weeks later I have made my mind up, I am going to marry her. I ask her if she would marry me if I asked, she said yes. So 5 days later I had the ring, took her to a boardwalk at sunset, sat her down handed her my bible, which had the ring on a page about marriage. I then got on one knee and asked. She stopped breathing for about 10 minutes, then said yes. XD I Went to her father the next day and asked his permission, he immediately said yes. This shocked me actually, as my wife's father is Jewish. My wife is a messianic Jew, so is her father now. I left for basic training 2 weeks later. We were married in August of that year. We have now been married almost 4 years and have a 1 year old son. The Moral, Confessing your feelings can and will land you the women of your dreams.
