LEGO Destiny- Shrike

Front picture is above. Back of the Shrike. As promised, I have another Destiny-inspired design made of LEGO! As before, the design was created in LEGO Digital Designer, but the pieces used are existing shapes and colors so you could very well build this model if you're willing to track down the necessary pieces. After the Devil Walker, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do next. We haven't had more than a few vehicles shown to us, so it was really between the personal ship that's been shown off for a while or the Shrike- seeing as how the latter has been featured in the Destiny Drawing Board, I figured that would be my best bet. The Shrike was easier to build than the Devil Walker, but also more difficult in a way. It was certainly a quicker build- it's much smaller in both size and number of bricks, measuring 9.45" long by 2.52" wide (not counting the extended "wings") by 2.76" tall at its highest point, and containing only 135 pieces. It's also why there aren't any in-progress screens this time. However, I find smaller models more difficult typically since you have limited space and bricks to do proper details. Unfortunately this meant that the model didn't turn out quite as well as I might have hoped, but I'm still very satisfied overall! More projects will be incoming as more Destiny details are revealed leading up to the beta and launch.
