World War 2 Tech! (Sd.Kfz. 251/16, "Flammenwerfer Halftrack")

The German 251, 250 Hanomag half-tracks were extremely modular, from the flamethrower projectors to AA guns they were the work horse of the German Wehrmacht. This model (The Sd.Kfz. 251/16) was a special model fitted with two flamethrowers, one on the right side and one on the left. Both flamethrower mounts could be moved 180 degrees and could fire forward as well. Six of these vehicles would be given out to each Panzer-Grenadier regiments pioneer sections, which were the equivalent of a U.S. combat engineer, these guys were specialists who handled toys like these. They were rather rare during the war and were really only used towards the end, from a design standpoint they were dangerous to use as those vehicles while armored couldn't stop much more than a bullet. Well this was a short one today, but these things are freaking fascinating. As always thanks for reading and if you like this stuff feel free to follow me!
