Factions?
What are the faction`s aims and goals in Destiny? Is there an option not to be in a faction? I need to know more. Also, which one are you choosing? Is FOTC a real faction?

Not sure, would also like more info on Factions in the game. Joinable? And What Not. Osiris because I've got a thing for Egyptian gods : )

I can't choose, Mainly because its too early,I would like to know more information about each of these factions other then just their names before I make a decision.

Maybe factions will have certain bonuses that they will give to your character. For example, if you join Osiris, the Egyptian god of death, maybe you will get a +5% chance to critical hit.

FOTC stands for Forces of the City. It's probably the equivalent of the UNSC. All we know about the other factions is that they hire us to fight in Faction Wars for contested areas throughout the solar system and that they have a big interest in the exploration efforts of the Guardians. They also seem to have something to do with weapon manufacturing.

We know you will be able to "increase your association" with a faction. We all would like more info on factions and how they will work. Will they be just weapons vendors like in borderlands/defiance so we can buy from each? Or are we limited to a single faction? I imagine the later tho.
