Well.. It's kind of depressing barely seeing kids go around to other houses for candy. I mean, there were so few running around and there were 5 houses open!
Wtf? Were there people trick or treating for you guys?

We only got one group, and those were our Neighbors. I blame Thursday and thus a school night, that and we didn't have any pumpkins out, just this cat light. I may or may not have executed the pumpkins in the desert with extreme prejudice at the start of the month...
-
The somewhat overblown fear of stranger danger. Really, the vast majority of child molesters are friends or relatives of the child.
-
Only about 7 groups of people for me. The past 5 years it has always been like that for me.
-
It's probably super scared parents of their kids being dragged into a house by some sicko to never be seen alive again. I don't blame them. Most trick or treaters to go to the mall now.

I think the most potentially tragic holiday is Thanksgiving. Everyone goes home to be thankful for each other and what they have, but given the high number of deaths associated with automobiles in the US, it's virtually guaranteed that there will be empty seats at the dinner table each year directly because of attempting to get home.

because Halloween is a satanic holiday
All Hallows' eve
