GTA V First Impressions... Well, overall impressions perhaps. Maybe.

Well, considering that nearly all of you have beaten this dead dog with a stick. I figured that i would add one more blow with my impressions. Since well, that is what I do and you guys know that. I will come right out the door and say this: GTA V is awesome! I am having so much laugh out loud moments, intense situations and sheer fun. It is made immediately true that this game is a vast improvement over GTA 4. The vesicles no longer behave like they are on ice, and the combat has obviously seen improvement thanks to the effort in Max Payne 3. Rockstar has learned a lot of lessons from their older games. It is obvious that those lessons came from Red Dead Redemption, GTA 4 and San Andreas, and Max Payne 3. You can guess what those lessons were for yourself. The combat is much more responsive and fluid, with smooth transitions in animations and the auto aim is finally refined. I do believe that the cross hairs need to be brightened up a bit, there are times where I don't even notice it. When ever this game announced that we will have three playable characters. I was afraid of what this will do to the story. Well, I can say that my doubts were wrong, and I could not be more happy. The story is simply just ONE very well done story that is told from the perspectives of THREE characters, primarily which one you happen to be in control of at the time. You can go into one scene as Micheal and get the very brutal and ending part of an argument. Or go as Trevor and see how it all started, right to the very end. This alone encourages replayment to see what all has happened. Some missions can only be started be a specific character, you see that by the color of the icons in screen. I am really liking the anytime switching option for the characters. The most hilarious and disturbing events take place in Trevors... Do it and see what I mean. ^That guy by the way. Makes Vaas from Far Cry 3 look like an angel. His presence makes a situation heart pounding, because he is so unpredictable and psychotic. Sometimes it feels like he goes to far, but it is genuinely effective. Especially during a torture scene. ...Trust me, you think the other two guys are bad. Trevor makes them look like flipping angels that have a heavenly glow! This is just my IMPRESSIONS right now. NOT MY REVIEW! That is more than likely going to be posted next week. This game is simply looooooooonnnnnnnggggg and there is so much to do! If you have questions, I will answer them if I can. When I can.
