The Universe in inside a group of mine, the Adventures In Space group. It started as a fun RP back in 2011, but over time the population slimmed down and became much more linear, serious, and story filled. So, because it started as an RP, most of the universe is based off of Halo, and some Mass Effect, and some other popular culture. So, right now, the Universe is not exactly 100% original. But, as time went on, the population slimmed down to 2 people, my friend and I. We plan out the story via text, and go with it. We're trying very hard to convert to a complete original universe filled with our own created content. After Chapter X is finished(which we've been on for over a year now, posts are very slow), we're going to start writing the books, replacing every unoriginal item/character/empire with our own. Examples, we're replacing the UNSC with the CSA, the Covenant with the Entente, SPARTANs with Snowbirds(possibility, is not settled), and much more. Everything is planned out so everything works out very smoothly.... plus, it helps that most of the story as of now is driven by OC we've created already.
