Mewtwo new forme confirmed.
It is not a new pokemon. Corocoro just released its latest issue and confirms Mewtwo has a new forme.
CoroCoro also reveals the pieces about the new Pokémon revealed last week. In doing so, it confirms that it replaces Mewtwo on the movie poster and confirms that it is in fact a new form of Mewtwo, with the poster explanation stating that Mewtwo has awakened and become its new shape.

So it becomes a completely new shape after it awakens. What do you think? What will normal Mewtwo's form be called and what will the new one be called?

I really hope this isn't the case, I would much rather it be a new pokemon rather than a new form of Mewtwo. Of all the pokemon, they have to do it to Mewtwo?
