Are there animals who require meat but have options at other substitutes, yet still continue to eat meat regardless?
-
Bears eat berries and stuff.
-
Foxes will eat anything, but it's not necessary for them to live on meat.
-
Do you mean "omnivores"?
-
A biggie would be Humans, mainly because while it hasn't gone a globalized scale, we have the ability to produce supplements and artificial foods that contain the proteins/acids/fats/whatevers that we rely on to keep us healthy that are regularly found in meat. It's becoming easier to have that sort of diet, though I can't ever see it becoming a major part of society (as in meat is totally replaced).
-
Hippos are mainly herbivores but I've seen some videos of them eating meat.

A chimp is your best possible answer, they don't need it but enjoy it. As for sauce (look it up your damn self)

Bears, chimpanzees, squirrels, boars, etc. It's a pretty long list.

Edited by VerticalGradient: 4/8/2013 6:23:15 PMI don't think ethics pertain much to animals. You tagged Ethics, so I'm just assuming that's what we're getting at.
