Just to let you know as the team said you will be able to chose between a male or a female I doubt that the awoken is only a female "race". (especially if Edward from Twilight is an inspiration)

Yeah I don't think gender won't be an option but I thought it was interesting they showcased the Awoken as a female Hunter because it was definitely used to evoke an idea of what they were like.

We've seen just few artworks based on this race, we should wait before starting worrying about gender, but I know this feeling ... the excitement. BRING IT ON E3.

Haha same I'm hunting the new video which should be released SOON by IGN (it's an interview with the team), I'd like to read the OXM too. I don't know if the Destiny one is released/available in UK ...
