By workout I mean running, weight lifting, cardio, stretching, etc. not necessarily after doing all of those but after doing at least 1.
I've been doing a little bit of research on which is better and people seem to like both. I found that medium temperature water is almost useless besides skin cleaning. I found that hot water increases blood flow, but cold water causes less blood flow and numbs the pain.
So I'm thinking it's best to take a cold one immediately after and then taking a hot one maybe 45 min to an hour later?
What do you guys think? I'm not really sure which is more beneficial or whether or not I should take 2 separate ones. Any help is much appreciated.
Posted by: oaklandp8ntbalr Try both, and see how your body recovers each time. Everyone's body is different.
Not necessarily. When it comes to muscle repair everything roughly happens the same way. The only real difference is speed of repair.
