Bungie Weekly Update: 10/26/07
A couple of interesting developments in the Halo 3 world, including DLC, Banhammer and yes, Recon helmets.

I can't post this anywhere else because anyone who has started a forum about this has usually lost control, and it got locked and the user banned. ha ha....Ahem* This entire forum (And many others, just search the name you know what it is) is a perfect example of how [i] not [/i] to get the armor you all desperately want. If you want it, earn it, and don't talk about it. Posting the name of the armor repeatedly in multiple forums is not going to help you, and it will always get you put on a list of who [i] not [/i] to give it to. This should go without saying, but apparently no one gets it because people still do it, even though you're asking for a big fat, *cough*[i] flaming [/i] *cough* banhammer. No one is moved emotionally in anyway by your plea, mostly because it hurts our eyes to read the nightmare-ish grammar and awkward spelling errors. Beyond that, I think I speak for almost everyone when I say we're sick of the complaining and blatant abuse of the cut and paste function. So please, for all our sakes and the sanity of our beloved moderators, stop asking and just play the game. There's no way to unlock it, bungie decides who gets it, and they "gift" it to you. End of story. *Also note how I never mention the specific armor by name, I only hint at it. another great way to get blacklisted, is overuse the name. *

well i was just watchin arby "n" the chief when i saw how the arbiter wrote that nice letter to get his good friend the chief the recon armor. Although the chiefs letter wasn't sent to bungie because it was switched with the arbiters. I thought i would give the chiefs letter a try. yo do u think u could look at my File share and give me ur input about it. and while ur at download my video, it's a warthog that glitch somehow and when ever my friend spawned a radio antenna the warthog would float in mid air. OH AND I KNOW THE JOKE TO HOW BUNGIE GOT IT'S NAME.

i rekon people who dont be mean to other players and have a fun game with each other should get recon u dont have to be the best just have fun and enjoy such a great game especally on multiplayer tats wat i think anyway

Hey Frankie or lukems, how exactly do you know when something like that happens? I mean, do you go through our file shares, or if we really think it's worth it should we pm you? Because I haven't uploaded this to my file share YET, but it's a picture of a seriously glitched out Master Chief, I shot him out of a Mongoose and his leg is now attached to his body only by a long, black, tube, looks like rubber or something. And did we forget of what we could get of which is better than pointless recon helmets? Re-makes of vehicles, weapons and maps? Also the bug fixing like melee and no campaign clips to yes campaign clips. Also what about that brute player model? This would shut up those recon helmet worshippers. I do my part and make tons of maps that take an entire day to make to perfection and they are loved by all who play them. They ask me to put it on my file share like you wouldnt believe. Feels like all that bugging bungie over recon armor here. Too bad I dont just get bungie pro and bam problem solved. Them you have people telling me you should work for bungie. I would agree that recon armor is pointless for us. Scout armor looks cooler... at least the helmet anyways and forget the rest. But why would we need another helmet? To make people jealous? Why? Take what you get and be thankful for what you have. The recon armor shows that they are a part of bungie and that is what we are not so deal with it. Complaining never helps but to annoy...

yo i got a video of my spartan lazer hittin me in the nuts it looks like im riding it and my guy is waving.{the gun got stuk in my nuts} it happened after my guy got caught in a glitch and flew THROUGH a warthog. you think that can get me recon?
