•
Posted by: SlycerZERO I think I see what he might be getting at. In the small pic, (on the Bungie homepage, leading to the article, and on the top left of the article under "top story") it looks like the space elevator is still standing, or at least some tall structure is still intact.
Posted by: Shishka Standing where, now?
Posted by: pinE7 If the giant space elevator in the background of Tombstone was destroyed and nocked down when Regret's ship jumped in the city, then why is it still standing in this new map?

You can see what I'm trying to explain in the link below http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v421/pin25hdja/spaceelevator.jpg ^There isn't suppose to be a space between the letters o and r in spaceelevator, couldn't fix it sorry^ I'm guessing this map goes along with the storyline, because the map shows the city of New Mombasa completely destroyed while it shows the space elevator intact. Whereas in the first Halo 3 trailer it was seen(and told by Bungie) that the elevator was destroyed and that it had fallen to the earth when Prophet Regret's ship slipspace jumped in the city of New Mombasa.
