Forerunner and a Prophet
[b][color=red]Warning: This thread contains Prophecy and possibly spoilers (I haven't played the game). If you are prone to flaming, you have been warned![/b][/color]
Welcome to my mother of all thread (thus far). For those of you who are familiar with my previous posts on the topic, this is new stuff. I have handpicked several passages from The Word. They're quite frightening at how they are [i]appearently[/i] coincidental... Or I'm just crazy (I like both answers). [i]If anyone would like a list of the passage titles, simply PM me for them and I'll be more than happy to send 'em your way.[/i]

I understand that some (if not, most or all of you) do not believe as I believe. But for all of you skeptics out there, please try to answer these questions:
[color=yellow]Where else do you hear about the Flood wiping out entire populations? Where else do you hear about the Prophets of the Covenant? Where else do you hear about the Reclaimer bringing salvation to mankind?[/color]

Interesting, you would be understanding if I asked where these things are said... wouldn't you? If they are in a magazine Article (Doubtful) book, or fan Fiction, please tell us. :) As you know I am a large believer of the [url=http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=473171]Forerunner = Huamn[/url] belief... but I would still like to see where this was said. :) Thanks. Chaplain! good to see you again. I have read your topic on the human and forerunner connection, and your findings are commendable. I am also a fan of your (i think it was your idea) that the halo merely disrupts neural patterns.

The ones describing the elites are from the book of Ezekiel. The ones of the Covenant war taken to them is from Daniel, and the seige of Earth is from the books of Matthew and Revelation. If you (or anybody) wishes to know the exact chapters and titles, PM me.

as for the matrix part, (the first matrix) at first people only saw really awesome camera angles and gunfights. however, some people saw the symbolism right from the start. as the trilogy progressed, more and more obvious and blatent messages popped up so that the mentally challenged could understand the symbolism. from the merovingian calling neo a savior and calling seraph (which is also the name of a type of angel) Judas (the betrayer). also in the end there are three bright crosses. Anyway, that was off topic. any other questions?

I don't believe I was the one that came up with the neural pattern problem, but I [u]did[/u] continue on with it, and elaborate on it. :) Now that I see your posts are from the Bible, I am starting to like your theory a lot more. I (As crazy as it may seem due to my name being Chaplain..) am an atheist, but it [i]does[/i] bring up a good point, from where you stand, the storyline DOES hold many biblical references in it, and using scriptures from the bible, makes your theory A LOT more valid. Good work Ice, and don't listen to the flame.. heh, after all the most hated Chaplain (And probably most over-all hated) here on bungie.net, has made a come back from all the flames. good job those are very good points, it has been done over and over again the bible is the number one resource for great story's. The matrix,lord of the rings and many others have used concepts from the bible to portray there story and i have no doubt halo is doing the same. well done
