Is Bungie releasing a creation tool for Destiny?

I thought it would be awesome if the brought back Forge. I would hope it would be different worlds!!!

If Bungie could find a way to make this work in a way that makes sense and actually encourages people to use those off-console resources, that'd be amazing. A map creator type program sounds like just the thing, as everyone wants to make maps and stuff. It's human nature to be creative!
Don't get your hopes too high about this. We've been suggesting a PC tool that can export files to a game on console for years. Hell, I remember when I made a thread about it when Reach was announced, and suggested the exact same thing. Even posted an exact copy of my thread on the 343 site for Halo 4. No-one delivered.
To be fair, 343 has never worked with anything close to Bungie's Forge program (for created maps) until this last year, and so to expect them to adapt it to a PC-based system that exports to a server which can be accessed on your console is a bit unfair. However, I do not think it is out of the realm of possibility for Bungie to do something like this. Plus, if you think about it incredibly optimistically, it doesn't take too much suspension of disbelief to come to the conclusion that Bungie wanted to wait to do something like that for their pet-project that they've been working on since 2007 or earlier. Also, I wasn't just talking about map-making software. I was also talking about any sort of tool utilized via mobile phone app, tablet app, on-site app, downloadable app, etc. etc. (like the World of Warcraft on-site Auction House idea I had in the link provided) which bridged the gap between Bungie.net and the game. Bungie.net would now be a means with which you achieve in-game ends, therefore making out-of-game resources (while unnecessary) very handy things for the regular user to...er...use. All of my rambling aside, I'm just talking about some sort of tool, resource, or database that could be accessed somewhere out of the game that can play a big part in the game itself. It'd add a new element to the game and give Bungie that edge they'd need to make this game be a fitting follow up to Halo (which not an easy act to follow, I might add).
