Halo 3 Ad Airs Monday!

The image you'll find in here is taken from the CG in the brand new Halo 3 TV ad, airing on ESPN's Monday Night Football next week. Be sure to check it out and set up that Tivo. This is one you won't want to miss. Also, there is some football game playing that night. Apparently.

  • Ok, I agree with everything I have read about after the scene with the children. I do however propose a difference in the opening with the children. If anyone is reading Ghosts of Onyx right now, then they know about (possible spoilers) The SPARTAN III program and how they are abusing 4-12 yr olds as Spartans. I propose that the boy and girl may be Tom and Lucy, the only SPARTAN III survivors of Operation TORPEDO. I think this because as some people mentioned, this is not a flashback per se. Instead as I am reading the Ghosts of Onyx, they are discovering ancient Forrunner technology deep inside Onyx, the facility on which the SPARTAN III's were trained. The only difference is that I believe Burnie said the commercial was on Earth. If so, in accordance with the "Ark" being on earth, I think that the attack in the book on Onyx is forshadowing for what will happen on Earth in Halo 3, hence the master chief on Earth with the giant explosion/excavating site in the background. This is only a theory, and may be completely wrong, however this is just a different spin. Also if anyone has already suggested this idea, I apologize and did not intend to make a similar post.
