I’m sorry if this is the wrong place to post this- I’m not sure were to and this seems like the best place. I’d just like to get the attention of the guys at Bungie to at least look at my idea. For those of you who don't know what [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airsoft]airsoft[/url] is, it is an extremely fun sport that can be played in backyards and other places. This sport requires airsoft guns which shoot small 6mm plastic bbs at fast speeds that sting when you get hit. Safety eyewear is required to play this sport and as long as you’re wearing them, you’ll be fine. I myself am a big airsoft fan, and have been playing for 3 years with friends and had some great experiences. One day I was thinking about Halo, and my mind wondered onto the topic of airsoft- and then it hit me- a combination of the two would be amazing. Being able to simulate situations from the game in your backyard with your friends or just to have an awesome replica of a Halo weapon would be mind-blowing. Many people have tried to create their own Halo airsoft gun, but none seem to come out right. If Bungie were to collaborate with a well known airsoft producer such as [url=http://www.evike.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=W&Category_Code=AEG_UTG]UTG[/url], [url=http://www.evike.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=W&Category_Code=AEG_TOKYOMARUI]Tokyo Mauri[/url], or Classic Army, they would both generate a lot of profit and create an amazing product. Although Tokyo Mauri and Classic army are expensive and UTG is not, UTG probably makes the best guns for their prices, and would be my first choice to go to. The sport of airsoft has weapons which can be spring, automatic, or gas. The most efficient are spring and electric. Below are my ideas of airsoft weapons that could be altered by the manufacture to be produced as Halo weapons. MA5B Assault Rifle- This would simply be the best airsoft gun ever made- especially for halo fans even if they never heard of airsoft. This weapon could be based of design of a bullpup electric airsoft gun. Many people have attempted to create this weapon by modifying other guns, but they never turn out well. This gun could even come with the tear off foil packaged magazines from the original Halo. Another awesome feature would be the bullet counter display which could function in real time like the paintball counters on hoppers. This would add a lot of realism to the action. A good gun like this could run for about $120 at most, anymore would turn people off due to the high prices. Clips can hold the original 60 rounds and extra clips should be sold to help create unforgettable firefights. Charger, clip, and battery should come with the package. [url=http://www.speedytoys.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=157] -Weapon’s internals similar to…[/url] (This gun is well made for its price) SRS99C S2-AM Sniper Rifle- This is another weapon that would simply kick ass. Based off of the internals of a well made airsoft sniper rifle, the S2-AM wouldn’t only look incredible, but feel amazing as you shoot off rounds at the enemy. A working scope would be required for those distance shots, no cheesy fake scopes that don’t magnify at all. Clips should hold between 10 and 20 bbs because this rifle would require manual cocking between shots being a spring rifle. The price of this gun should be around $150 to not turn off fans. -Weapon’s internals similar to [url=http://www.evike.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=W&Product_Code=AR_Matrix_Super9&Category_Code=SNIPERRIFLES]-Weapon’s internals similar to…[/url] M6D Pistol- Ah, that good ol’ sidearm from Halo. This could be based off a spring action airsoft pistol. A Marine holster could carry it even for those hardcore fans. Clips should hold about 20 bbs and those foil packaged extra clips from Halo could also be sold. Price for this gun shouldn’t go over $30. This could be designed using the internals from previous airsoft shotguns such as this one- [url=http://www.evike.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=W&Product_Code=AR_Shotgun001&Category_Code]-Weapon’s internals similar to...[/url] …but made with better quality. And last, but not least… M41 SSR MAV/AW Rocket Launcher- This could possibly be the most amazing thing ever, not just to hold in your hands, but to fire and use. Although this may be VERY expensive, it would be awesome to just own. To create this launcher, it would require 2 grenade launchers with the body. This has never been done before in airsoft, the only example I can find is around [url=http://www.evike.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=W&Product_Code=Glauncher_CAW_REVOLVER&Category_Code=GRENADELAUNCHERS]$400.[/url] This will be a challenge to build, but everyone would want this piece of artillery. Prehaps you could also sell extra shells or foam tipped rockets in packs of 2.
