Yeah, I don't think so. Think about it this way. Halo 1 was only on the PC because it was new and Bungie/Microsoft were trying to capture a good fanbase for the game. They had to pay for extra servers for CE on PC (though population had mostly countered loss of profit), Xbox was pure profit. Halo 2 comes along, except there was no PC version on release day. Microsoft gets a ton of revenue off of H2's popularity on Xbox Live, and Halo soars into the sky of popularity. The once sizable PC community obviously shows protest and anger. In hopes of feeding off this existing fanbase, they release a poorly made port of Halo 2 for PC, that ended up being a huge, utter failure and disappointment to fans. Halo's mainstream PC fanbase scatters, and with Xbox Live becoming very popular and having a huge game series under their nose, I believe M$ ditched the PC community. Permanently. They would announce if they had a PC version H4. And they don't. Sorry to say it, but the PC community was really just taken advantage of until Halo got off its feet, and Microsoft realized how inexpensive and simple simply selling it on their own console would be. And if your best counter is that O'Conner said something dodgy and misguided a YEAR ago, then you know that's wrong too.
