Would the abolishment of timezones be so bad...?
I'm sure everyone who doesn't live on the west coast of America has been slightly annoyed with timezones before, because of this website...
But what would happen if we just got rid of them and everyone just used Greenwich Mean Time? You would never have to set your watch when you went into another timezone. I would actually understand what time I posted on this forum. The USA could get out of bed at about 12pm everyday... and we wouldn't have "post what time it is" threads.
There don't seem to be any drawbacks at all. Do there?

No, abolishing the timezones would be stupid, your time would no longer be an accurate representation of the actual time of the day. And confusion you say? You mean you can't ad 5 to a number? What i would like is the timezone labelling changed, instead of every timezone having 2 or 3 different labels, it should all be GMT +/-, like GMT -5 for the east coast of the US.
