How did bungie come up with all the logos?

Like the septagon and the fist with the thunderbolts. What's the story behind them? Also why did they choose blue black and grey as their main colors (correct me if I'm wrong)

 •
Posted by: diggnURgrave The name for the Seventh Column coming from the seventh column on the periodic table being the Halogens.
I always believed Seventh Column derived from fifth column, which is a group of people who undermine a larger group such as a nation from within. This fits when you consider they have 7 Steps to World Domination, with the seventh step being, "Take over world, shoot enemies into the sun with giant slingshot." Maybe I'm mistaken though. The logos are likely designed by the Art department at Bungie and presumably go through many drafts before finally settling on a winning design.
