Chapter Two: Everything old is new again Halifax had put a small search group together, VII Toast, MinkOWar, dmbfan, and pistolsnipe. Halifax led them out of the hideout and down the hall, he stood there for a minuet trying to recognize anything, Finally he remembered a thread and he knew where he was. He led the group deeper into the void, with a ten minuet hike before stopping at a thread entitled, “Spammers!” He opened the door to the thread and entered the empty dark room, the only light came from a glowing white door at the far end of the room, “A link to the flood” Halifax explained to them. The group of four silently followed Halifax down an dark cramped hallway, for what seemed like hours until finally Halifax walked right into the exit, “Here it is.” he said while rubbing his nose. The door opened up into a destroyed thread, the floor and walls were splashed with spam. Hurrying through the room, the group entered an empty hallway. They followed the hall until they reached a corner, that’s where Halifax noticed noise coming from a near by thread. VII Toast and dmbfan took out their banhammers and were ready to strike as MinkOWar opened the door. A lone gnome flew out of the thread and jumped on pistolsnipe’s neck, screaming pistolsnipe ran around like a maniac trying to get the gnome off. Pistolsnipe fell to the ground, and stopped moving, that’s when Halifax was able to kick the gnome off of pistol. VII Toast went to check if Pistol was ok as Halifax chased after the gnome. He chased the gnome for Thirteen Forum blocks until a blond haired figure jumped out of a thread and tacked the gnome. The blond haired man struggled with the gnome until he was able to pin it down, unleashing wave upon wave of fists at the gnome’s face. Burring the gnome’s eye with a lite cigarette, he screamed “Take that you tiny little bastard!” Halifax knew that voice. The man then picked up the dead gnome and punted it down the hallway. “Twitch!” Halifax yelled hopefully. Twitch turned around to see Halifax for the first time, “Halifax! You sexy beast!” he then ran and hugged Halifax and screamed “Your alive!”, then Twitch slapped him, “Yeah, your alive!” Halifax quickly tried to explain what was he knew about the situation so far, then Twitch explained on how he and another found a secret crack in the Holding-Cell for banned users and escaped. Before Twitch could finish, Halifax noticed a small group of gnomes surrounding the dead gnome. Trying to drag Twitch back to the others, Twitch overpowered Halifax and pulled him into the thread he jumped out from. Inside the horribly dark room, Halifax saw a user scanning the source code map for the forums, “I’ve managed to find three likable stops where Gnome could be.” the man looked up and Halifax saw his face, “Obbi?!” he said. “I can’t leave you people alone for one second can I?” Obbi told him, “I leave for a few months for Intelligence training and this happens. If I had been there I’d be getting it on with Gnome’s dead corps right now.” Halifax gave a little chuckle. The back door to the Thread burst open and JoeyBagofDonuts came running in, “Uh, Guys there is a very large horde of angry gnome’s right outside that door, I say we get the hell out of here, now.” Before they could reach the back door, the front door busted down and an onslaught of angry gnomes rushed in.
