Why would Bungie ever design their HUD so that when radar is turned off it still takes up space? This is very small but it still is a good example how the people at Bungie thought that "different" meant better when making halo 2. I don't know anyone who would prefer it this way, not even the soccer mom alpha and beta testers. Bungie really couldn't leave good enough alone, who knows what will unnecessarily be changed in Halo 3.
