From the forum rules;
14. Do not create threads directed at single users. This is what the PM system is for. On a similar note, do not create threads to express your dislike of other users, even if they are spammers or flamers. This breaks both this rule and rule #10, which means double trouble for the person that does it. If you believe a user is a problem for the forums, message a moderator.
As an aside. The moderators are able and willing to look at any thread on the public forums. Any and all members are welcome and able to post into any unlocked thread on any of the public forums. The forum rules apply (as in "play nice", no personal attacks, and keep comments on topic for the thread and forum), if someone (anyone) is breaking any forum rule in any thread, please PM a Moderator with a link to the thread.
Creating threads like this only aggravate, escalate and inflame the situation, plus they tend to piss off the moderators as well.
If someone is sending you unwelcome PM's the "Block User" function is a great way to prevent future PM's.
These are the rules and some good advice based on them. If anyone has anything further to say, I certainly hope they do it within the Bungie.Net guidelines.
Your role as a moderator enables you immediately ban this user from messaging (bypassing the report queue) if you select a punishment.
