It's a story about a girl whose mother dies, and she ends up moving into the house of the most popular guy at her school. The guy (well, his family, really) has a curse that makes it so the embrace of someone of the opposite gender (and not a member of the family) turns him into a rat - His sign in the chinese zodiac. Every member of the family has this curse, where they'll turn into their sign on the chinese zodiac, and they've had this curse forever so they've had to learn to cope with it, and that means there's a little bit of strife. It reminds me a bit of Ranma 1/2, to be honest.
