WILL ALIENWARE MAKE HALO PC RUN @ 30FPS WITH NO SLOWDOWN?
I brought halopc awhile back and my poor 1.6ghz geforce 2 384 ram made this game perform terribly. Has there been updates to combat these poor frame rates or do I need a super computer to run halopc. I would say on average most people have a 2.6ghz geforce 3/4 and 512 ram, and Ive heard rumers it still doesn't run correctly. I also heard that even ALIENWARE finds it hard to run this game. Does anyone else notice these FRAME RATE ISSUES? I can you bet you to my last dollar that this is the primary reason for everybody's LAG PROBLEMS.

The mac version runs like a dream on g5 why did the pc version get screwed?

Don't buy an Alienware. You end up spending an extra $1000 on the case and name. You'd be better off just writing down the specs for their hardware and buying the parts yourself. If you're squeamish about putting the thing together yourself, I'd suggest taking it to a local computer shop. That way, if there are any problems you can simply drive your machine back to them to get fixed.
