Halo Universe: Use Fire
If all else fails... The long wait is over, Halo 3 welcomes the Flamethrower and a fourth grenade into the fold.

I read this stuff about everyone wanting a knife, and a knife is for stealth kills right - so if your gonna make a stealth kill obviuosly your coming from behind. And all weapons have an istant kill ability when meleeing in the back. Hell! the brute shot blade does the job perfectly, but still an knife would be -blam!- sweet!

I always hated flamethrowers online, every time I've played a game with flamethrowers on it it wound up being overpowerd, annoying, and just not fun fighting anyone with one. I just hope the use it well. The flame grenade is just what Halo 3 needs though. I just hope you don't catch on fire, or, if you do it doesn't last to long.

After seeing that one segment in the Halo 3 E3 2007 Trailer, in which the all structures are on fire (first scene to show the Chief), the first thing I think is Brute Blitzgrieg! Heck, I'd be afriad to hold one of those things too! I mean, look at it. It's freaking glowing red! But on the other hand... (FIRE + FLOOD INFECTION FORMS) = (POPCORN - TASTE) / (POSSIBLE ZOMBIFICATION)

Have you used It ? do you know how it will effect gameplay?…. What’s that, no? no you don't do you, so how can you possibly say the game is 'being filled up with crap' when you haven’t seen or used the new weapons or equipment or whatever new things have been implemented, unless you played the beta, and even then that was just a mere sample of what there will be in the finished game. Here’s a tip: I'd actually play Halo 3 first and use the weapon before claming its crap. Please think before you post such a worthless comment, what is it supposed to even mean anyway? Also in the "reality" fire can hurt the MC. he is resistant against heat but just for some time and not for every temperature. if he were, plasma weapons wouldn´t damage him too, because the plasma in halo is is just dangerous because of its tremendous heat. think about it ;)

You have to think of Halo 3 more as A GAME than real, in all ways its a video game and you have to accept that things must be balanced. Even though Superman is almost invincible would you make a game where you couldn't die? Thats not fun. Get real. Fire, ICE, bullets, w/e they can all hurt the Master Chief or any other spartan. I'm sure bungie will make the flamethrower fun. It's their job to make us enjoy the game. So shut your lips haters and wait and see what happens. Besides, its not like if the flamethrower actually does suck people will stop playing and if you do then you should be shot : D
