How does time work in the Halo universe?
Do they have a new set of time? Or does every one go off the earth based time? That doesn't seem like it would make sense for other planets....

The UNSC has time standardized as Earth's time, date, month , year, etc. It is probably like this for most of Humanity, but it may be adjusted for some colonies.
