What's with all these contests being "rigged"?
I have noticed that the past two contests have had some sort of drama. Can anyone actually confirm that people are rigging the votes?
I'm active in a few different groups on this site and to be honest I think a few people were mislead by a few posts. To be honest I don't feel as though it's wrong for someone to ask for votes in a private group, using alts or some other means though is wrong.
What does the community think about people asking for votes in private groups?
*Please do not single people out ITT.*

Looks like Ken's returned from his "holiday" and things've kicked off already. But my few cents. I think that asking for the support of your group members, in good faith, is fine. ie. "Hey guys, I got into the final list for the poetry comp. Some support would be nice." But I think that, if not in good faith, such as directing or ordering them to do so, asking your group members for votes isn't great. ie. "Guys, go and vote for me. I need to win so go and vote for me guys." Making alts and voting for yourself is sad though.
