If it weren't for danger we'd never evolve, we'd never take risks, we'd have never gone to the moon, we'd never have electricity, and we'd never have all this tech because it "isn't safe".[/quote] Unnecessary risks are unnecessary. Maybe you want to put your life at risk every day with something as trivial as driving, and that's fine, but when it puts other people's lives at risk it is unacceptable, when there is an alternative, of course.
