A group i'm still proud to be a member of (SSO) used to be one of the bigger and more active groups on bnet. after bnet lost lots of member activity after reach one of the mods removed a few thousand inactive members, since only about 20 people were posting regularly at that point. it scares away new members, but honestly i think nothing of much value was lost. almost all the people who still frequent it have been there since the first few hundred members, so it's just a much more personal atmosphere and we're all old friends.
