So if they did connect the Games MC would have to go into the Marathon universe which could have happened at the end of Halo 3.[/quote] What causes you to make these wild assumptions? You are over thinking this by way too much. I mean I don't think it was supposed to be disputed that the planet or artificial planet at the end was of Forerunner origins and yet everyone would much rather think that instead of something reasonable like that, that some how he jumped god damn universes all because of a portal chopping the ship in half. With that logic the MC could have ended up in the same universe as Star Wars and that is the damn Death Star.
