The gravemind was not a precursor. I don't remember the details in the books too well. But I don't think it said the Captive was a gravemind.
I might be lost. I need to read those books again. Seeing as how slow this forum is, the thread should still be here when I get done.
^It doesn't matter if it is CLOSE to a precursor. If it isn't fully a precursor, then it isn't a precursor.
