Halo: The Thursday War (MASSIVE BOOK/HALO 4 SPOILERS!)

I just finished reading the Thursday War. Excellent book, but let's get down to business. If you haven't yet read it and wish to not be spoiled, this is your cue to look away. CONFIRMED: -The UNSC Infinity has its trial runs (Thursday War, if you will) over Sanghelios in an effort to help/intimidate the Arbiter. -Halsey is aboard the Infinity (for the time being). -Hood is aware that Parangoski is pulling strings in the background to some extent (hinted at heavily as he fires upon 'Telcam's forces). -Spartan IV's are operational on the Infinity (Dev meets one and describes him as handsome). -The Arbiter wins the first round of the Civil War (Jul's wife Raia is killed in the battle by Port Stanely). -Jul is experimented on to see if ONI can poison the Elites food supply and, in conversation with Prone to Drift, an Engineer, he discovers that the Didact has a grudge against humans for reasons both known and unknown, and that he is in stasis on Requiem. -Jul escapes ONI confinement on Onyx to arrive at an outer Elite world using an elaborate portal system, where he teaches the locals about what he has learned, and plots to use them to avenge Raia's death, which he learns of soon after escaping. -Naomi and Vaz infiltrate Venezia and find Naomi's father with a jackal, who has, somehow, become the proprietor of the Pious Inquisitor (fancy hearing that name again). HINTED: -Jul and/or Telcam will spearhead the "Storm" faction of the Covenant, who will travel to Requiem to wake the Didact and take revenge upon mankind. -The Didact still has anti-human feelings, which may be fleshed out upon discovery of human advancement. -Parangoski is a miserable -blam!-. Anyone else interested by the developments made in this book? I found it very interesting to see how things are slowly growing closer to Halo 4 era sentiments and technology, as well as the inclusion of several key Halo 4 characters (Lasky and Del Rio, for example.). Thoughts on the book in general? [Edited on 10.02.2012 7:01 PM PDT]
Yes you are right. And that is confusing (For me at least) for it is hinted in Thursday Wat that the Didact will join forces with the Storm (I think this is actually confirmed according to halopedia but...)but in Halo PRimordium that both versions of the Didact started to respect humans and even like them so why this 180 degree turn? Unless in the cutscene after the end of the Halo 4 - Campaign Demo - Mission 3: "Forerunner" were it ends with The Didact's Cryptum the Chief insulted him or Jul was faster and talked to him before the Chief UPDATE : IT seems that some how the UR-Didact has survived http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Halo:_Silentium
Yeah, it seems Faber pulled the old "Bond villain" routine, and simply left his nemesis to die. When will they learn, unless you kill him yourself, he WILL escape.
