Halo PC Pros: *expanded settings vertical and horizontal sensitivities, music and game sound adjustment, turning on/off effects, shadows, stable no-v sync, checkpoint menu *modding friendly Custom Edition, map editor SparkEdit, basic user friendly modding program HMT, advanced user friendly modding program Eschaton, scenario modding, damage modding, individual health modding, don't have to mod the maps directly (so no need to back up default maps), doesn't give you files are missing prompt if you delete stuff from the maps folder, can mod bipeds without the game screwing up, can mod AI in-depth, very thorough in every aspect of modding *easy backup (maps, profiles, checkpoints) *FoV adjustment (external) *anti-aliasing (external) *Halo PC dev trainer (external) *press X to enter vehicle fixed Cons: *fall barrier seems to be set higher than NTSC Xbox version (IIRC) *no creating checkpoints (excluding Custom Edition, which has 'game_save') *juggling weapons isn't easy (no changing hold E to press E) *some modders make their tags in maps impossible to decipher Halo 2 Vista Pros: better graphics (must select high setting for 'level of detail' to see it), global difficulty management (through matg), basic modding (Gravemind, Mr. Mohawk) Cons: barely any advancement in the settings, crap programs (modding, dev trainer, etc.), even smaller FoV, horrible performance, AI modding is -blam!-, lagging regardless of your computer's efficiency, unstable, no sword flying or super jumping in campaign, still no skull menu, buggy controls (can't crouch when moving, can't get allies out of vehicle when it's hold E, non-functioning Spectre seats for allies), Xbox modding vastly superior I don't know about Halo 2 Vista MP though.
Posted by: Dr Syx It's not really that important to me that the other people in the game speak English. Back when most the population did speak it they didn't have anything of importance to say other than act like a douche anyway. Now they're just saying it in another language.
A long time ago, people were saying things like gg or ty and even shee noob (Banshee abusers). I didn't understand it back then (so they ganged up on me because I didn't reply :P) but now I know they meant good game, thank you, etc. [Edited on 10.07.2012 3:02 PM PDT]
