Posted by: urk
Posted by: sigmapi103 So let me get this straight: I can buy a $60 video game, which I don't want, so I can play another video game. Or wait until "your" company decides to release as a stand-alone? What doesn't make sense in those two statements?
The Halo Wars LE is $80, so I'm going with number one.
I understand MS sets the regulations on Xbox Live Content and the Halo franchise, but $80 is a complete ripoff. I'd say if 1 month after releasing Halo Wars the Mythic Map pack is available for stand-alone purchase would be acceptable. If I was in control of Bungie, unless contracts stated otherwise, I would sell all my updates on the shelves. I know that would increase overhead (as it's far cheaper to have a consumer download rather than go to Gamestop) but its apparent MS is fleecing every single cent out of Bungie.
