Posted by: And Im Here Too
Posted by: ROBERTO jh I'm talking about the needle itself, not entirely the raw strength of the infection form. So here's what we know. John's body suit is composed of a nanocomposite titanium alloy. We know it's bullet proof to a degree. We know an infection form can pierce it. Conclusion: the Flood can pierce bullet proof armor.
So apparently it's more durable when plot-relevant but is less durable when plot-relevant? Makes sense.
Nope. If the Flood were to have even a sliver of a chance defeating the forerunners, those needles on the top of the infection form would have to pierce class 12 combat skins and up. Considering MJOLNIR is class 2, it would make sense if an infection form could pierce the inferior armour.
