How bulletproof is spartan armor?

I'm wondering because in the games Flood shoot master chief and he gets hurt but how if he has thick meta all around him is it that future guns are just that powerful?

 •
Posted by: And Im Here Too
Posted by: ROBERTO jh This is the world of fiction, where anything is possible, even a giant green beast closing a black hole with his bare hands. If a Flood infector can pierce nancomposite titanium armor, than that's what he can do, am I right?
Hulk didn't actually close a black hole, and one could write it off as comic logic anyway. It'd still be canon, but whatever. What you're insinuating is that an Infection Form can tear though apparently bulletproof titanium alloys...but is easily held still by Johnson. It's strong enough to pierce "advanced" future armor, but is easily kept at bay by regular marines. (Granted Johnson was a Spartan). Halo's supposed to be at least semi-realistic. What happened to that?
I'm talking about the needle itself, not entirely the raw strength of the infection form. So here's what we know. John's body suit is composed of a nanocomposite titanium alloy. We know it's bullet proof to a degree. We know an infection form can pierce it. Conclusion: the Flood can pierce bullet proof armor. 1+1=2 And:
Hulk didn't actually close a black hole
Not according to you several times in that one thread. Did the rules change or something? [Edited on 09.26.2012 6:39 PM PDT]
