Myth: The Fallen Lords and Myth II: Soulblighter

Myth: The Fallen Lords and Myth II: Soulblighter are some of my all time favourite games and it’s time to pay little homage to another of Bungie’s Greatest Hits. This howto intends to assist the reader in getting a copy of Myth, and getting the most out of the experience. However, I am not a fountain of myth lore by any standards – I would appreciate any assistance, pointers, corrections and help that you guys can give.
This Guide is broken into 8 sections, and due to the character limits enforced on posts, I’ve had to place each chapter in their own post. The chapters are:
1. Overview and History of Myth
2. Getting a Copy of Myth II
3. Installing Myth II
4. Myth: TFL in Myth II
5. Myth Online
6. Fear, Loathing and Myth Plugins

I'm locking this thread indefinantly. There is NO good conversation coming out of it, although I'll keep it stickied. The first few posts are really all we're reading anyway. If you have any questions concerning Myth TFL or Myth II, please PM me or another active member of the Myth fanbase (Sardonic13, Ghandi 2, Reiginko, etc.) Maybe I'll commit myself to reposting this one day, but until then, it gets locked. -TGP-

I just got Myth II off Ebay for $5.00! So far it's fun. I like those zombie things. In about a week I'll be done with this and maybe I'll play some MP. :-)

I finally got Myth II working, and it's -blam!- sweet. Now I've got to get the internet working on that computer.

Everyone I knew personally thought I was crazy back in the day. Only the others on Bnet knew I wasn't. Myth > Warcraft. All action. Lightning quick strategy. No buildup, and consequently no letdown if you lose. Starcraft boasted "multi-levelled terrain". Pah! Myth is the true king of RTS. There is no spamming, you work with what you got. Such great great memories. I think I'm going to have to play some when I get home from work. Now, if only my Fetch would move faster....
