I was thinking about the theory that Halo and Marathon are connected, and this is my theory about how they could all be in the same universe (I don't know much about the Marathon, by the way.) So perhaps after then events of Halo 6, I believe two things might have happened: A. Things start to get worse, and the UNSC dissolves and later (after many years, perhaps) and eventually reassembled into the UESC. B. Things start to get better and a steady rate, eventually renamed UESC. (Notice the highly futuristic cities in the background of Marathon, could support a more advanced world due to the better things after the Halo events.) If we are weak at this point, we may have only barely able to hold of the Phfor, thus resulting in only 1 city left (The Last City), and ruins all across the solar system. Then the new races of aliens start the invasion years later. If we are strong at this point, then being confident about no one daring to attack us, the UESC may be caught off guard by the Phfor and their Jjaro technology, thus resulting in the above. And what I'm about to say is a pure shot in the dark, but could the Traveler, be Forerunner, Jjaro, or Precursor? Or could they all be versions of the same race?(excluding Precursors) Take this with a grain of salt, but, thoughts?
