[/quote]You got Recon by linking your gamertag to Bungie.net, having the seven vidmaster achievements, and allowing Bungie.net to validate that you earned them legitimately (hence why nobody ever 'modded' Recon... if you cheated for it, you didn't get it). Bungie.net is no longer connected to Halo 3, therefore that method does not work. In addition, Bungie cannot just hand out Recon because they do not control the game anymore, having handed it off to 343. So both methods are bunked.
