And he was stopped by the thing that preacher guy had, the will of god or something. So he's clearly not omnipotent. And he didn't even know that god was the one who betrayed him until someone else found out for him, and he often "rests". That makes sense to me. The Saint killed God, but God is still [i]God[/i]. Not even the Angel of Death has more authority than God.
