yeah, there are four grenades on the video, but its also a prealpha video i'm pretty sure. If there are 4 grenades they are frag, plasma, spike and probably the shield grenade looking at the shape of it. Or its just a pineapple, and please people, spell words correctly, its not that hard

when they said spartans, plural, they were talking about multiplayer, KP even came on here and said so on the third page about 1/3 of the way down.... [Edited on 1/25/2007]

The Spartans(plural) comment has nothing to do with multiplayer. The entire article is written from the point of view of a Military report on a type of enemy weapon within the Halo universe. Says so right there at the top "Excerpt from long-term, in-field interview with the soldiers of E2-BAG/1/7." Everything in quotes in the report are fictional quotes from fictional Marines. It's sort of written in the same style as the Colonial Marines: Technical Manual from the movie Aliens, if anyones ever seen that.

slycerZERO, where'd you find out that 95% of halo 2 XBL people mod... and that 88% of live players are under the age of 12? that's absolutely proposterous. if you play like 5 games you might run into a small child. and if 95% percent mod that would mean that 19 out of every 20 games you would play a modder. that is BULL. anyways about the story. its pretty cool.

Yes, there is more Spartans. A swedisch gamemagazine visited Bungie. They got to see this 10 sec singleplayer video. and yes they saw more Spartans. Master Chief aint alone anymore + in the book "fall of reach" somewere in it, they say something about UNSC train more Spartans.

Good idea!You,know,that grenade looks powerful.It's wide,powerful radius isnt just good for single,tough opponents(Bruts Ex),but also for multiple infantry.I think it would also make an excellent anti-vehicle weapon.With fast vehicles(ghost) it can lock onto it no prob(it said it had better accuracy than Plasma Grenade!),and blow up. With stronger vehicles(Scorpions) you can just throw it easily,and its immence power with break through the armour,and the blast radius will cover it all. Though it may not be capable of actually destroying the Scorpion,but that can be an advantage. If you can aim well enough,and hit the cage the driver's in,you could kill the driver,and then hop in the tank!

Hmm, I like how they said that the grenade can kill a Marine or Grunt. Fighting the Grunts huh?

It would actually be rather funny if the Spike grenade could be used as a melee weapon before it was actually armed... you could beat the shields off an enemy and then stick it to them when they're exposed.
