We've heard this as rumor before. Could there be some truth to it?

I don't see this as too big a problem, but it has issues. Reason For: Money will go directly to people who made it. Reason Against: Sales like the Steam sales will probably never happen. Also, GameStop works a supply-and-demand system based on rarity. I bought Bioshock 2 for $9, and titles like Gears 2 and COD4 were there for like $5. I highly doubt you'll ever see full retail older games go less than $20. And that's a shame because that's alot of what I buy. Edit: Also, GameStop had BF Bad Company 1 for $3.
