Et 2am Brute?
Wednesday morning, at 2am PST (Pacific Standard Time) on December 20th, we'll be going Live on Xbox Live Marketplace with the next in our series of Vidocs - a series of video documentaries about you guessed it, Halo 3.

Hm, odd, I thought the Grunts were along side the Elties, but maybe some are with the Elties and some with the brutes. The video is very awesome, to see the brutes in a new light' and I as well did notice the Elties with duel swords, very awesome!

I just watched the Brute video again because it is so fu*&ing awesome. and I found something: Does any one else listed to the 1up yours podcasts? in the 12/22/06 episode it was mentioned by Bungie that the needler was more rifle-like. In the Brute video there was one scene where the chieftain was holding (ok here is where I hope they fix something- The chieftain was not really holding the gun, his hand that you would think supports the barrel was way down under the gun, it looked like he was showing off "look i can fire with one hand while holding the other under the gun for no apparent reason" Anyways, I hope that this kinda thing will be looked into, at least before the beta. I know that this video was put together early and that Bungie is way the heck beyond that in terms of development) a new "elongated plasma riffle" looking gun. Could this be the new needler? thoughts? They also said that this new needler was the weapon that you will want the most on the map, and, although we did not see him hit anything with it, the gun the chieftain was holding looked somewhat powerful. H3 is going to be the best game ever but the brute with a sord kind of cheep. the brutes in H2 where just big dum apes I sher hope there fixt in H3 but im not woried because bunge is the best game studio ever. and i am part of the 12% that is older then 12

no, group 1- elite, hunter, (humans) group 2- brutes, grunts, jackals, drones, prophets

yea. I thought the Covenant split into these 2 groups. Group1-Elite,Grunt, and Hunter Group2-Brute,Jackal,Drones, and the prophets [Edited on 1/2/2007]

OMG the brutes look awesome in that video! I know that Bungie has said that the player cannot play as a brute, but I think it would be awesome in multiplayer, alongside the elite. I also noticed at the end of the article that he mentioned there will be more than one type of brute, I do hope he means Brute Flood variants are in the enemy list as well. Cause that would make fighting flood all that much more fun!

will brute rampages be worse than before? Will they go around ripping marines limb from limb when in rampages? Also will they have enegy shields too?

will most of the brutes have plasma hammers? If they do will they be as strong as tartaruses plasma hammer?

The Vid was awesome, i just cant wait to be in front of one of them. But there was something that distracts me a lot!!!.. and its the H3 Screensaver that the guys have... i want one!!! xDDD
