Nice facts really enjoyed the read since im a halo junky. My question is how did the spirit of fire go MIA if after the events it was to return to earth. Or did it complete its mission go on a new one and then go MIA.
Well, its MIA because it is so far from Earth where it was that it will take many years to return. It would not if they still had their hyperdrive, but they detoneated it to destroy the shield world. Traveling at sublight means they have not even arrived during Halo 3, if they ever do at all. thats y its MIA, it is lost to the everyone else.

*plz post a myth reply to this*
1)why do grunts, hunters, drones, and jackals not get infected?
2)how does SPARTAN-IIs not die and the same with the arbiter?
3)what covenant species started the covenant?
4)what does a elite female look like?
1) They do get infected, they just dont become combat forms. Nothing except microscopic life it immune to the flood, because biomass they can collect is used, and spores infect anything their spikes can enter. All the materials in these creatures are used for other things, sucha as buildign gravemind or carrier forms. AS for hunters, they cant be infected because they are composed of a colony of 3 foot worms acting as one organism, so there is no central body to assimilate. Likely, the worms are just used for biomass like I mentioned before.
2) Spartan II's do die, they are jsut hard to kill, and are always listed as MIA to boost morale. The Arbiter can die, thats pretty much his whole purpose, and if your just talking abiut why the Arbiter Thel Vadam in the game doesnt die, its because he is badass, like Johnson.
3) The Prophets (San' Shyuum) Started the Covanent when they conquered the Elites (Sangheili) over a religious arguement.
4) Female looks the same as the male I believe, although I dont believe one is ever seen anywhere. I doubt they have breasts, as usually only mammals have those, and Elites appear saurian. I wouldnt be surprised if they laid eggs.

I believe the point that charles is attempting to make to you mero, is characterized, at least in close context by one of my favorite sherlock holmes quotes of all time.
"When you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how IMPROBABLE must be the truth"
The impossible, is that it is absolutely 100% for certain that Forge is dead. Yes, there is that 99.99% chance and considerable evidence weighed in favor of the idea, there is still the .01% possibility that Forge is alive. Either due to some Unseen forerunner, or otherwise, preemptive intervention. For All we know, stating quite bluntly here, A divine entity placed their hand inside that supernova at the last possible millisecond and plucked Forge into some alternate dimension. Whoop dee doo, he's alive.
I however, believe that he is dead.
uhh, yea, that about covers it.

Have you heard the case of Schrodinger's Cat?? According to quantum physics any and all possibilities can exist at once until they are proven wrong and/or disqualified. Google it. I hear what you are saying, because even though it is highly unlike, nigh on impossible that he survived, there is still the possibility that he survived.
I dont know what the crap Schrodinger's Cat is, but thats preety much my point without the quantum physics, unless we are talking about FTL drives.
Jeez that was alot of stuff.
Oh, heres a follow up to another post:

Nope. The amount of empty space between planets and solar systems is simply vast. With the Spirit of Fire stuck halfway across the galaxy without an FTL drive, it could take hundreds of years for them to make it back, even thousands. Just imagine going to sleep, and then waking up 10 000 years later to find that everything you know and believed in was gone.
