Bungie Weekly Update
Short and sour this week, with some interesting snippets, but mostly stuff that will make fans of certain matchmaking playlists really angry and abusive. So to them, we apologize in advance.

Ok, i understand changes need to be made and all that.. first it became ranked, which kind of sucked because now me and my boyfriend cant play together if i'm at his house.. now it's just gone? This is ridiculous. So many people that play Halo 2 on a regular basis, misses swat. It would be one thing if you were just temporarily removing it, but to not know if you are willing to bring it back or not is proposterous. it was a good way to get in a quick game or two if you didnt have much time. not to mention how much fun it was to shoot some guy in the head and watch them drop. there were not as many modders in team swat because there was no need for it. you were either good, or you werent. it doesnt make sense to me how popularity was not considered when you removed games. wouldnt that make the most sense? take away games that arent as popular, rather then take away one of the most popular games. doom on you. and i hope that you are crushed by jolly boots of doom this holiday season. it would be one thing if you had a rational explanation for taking away swat. but all you can say is it will help game traffic. wouldnt taking away the least popular games instead better increase traffic in the other games? but no, now there are still stragglers in the least popular games. and honestly swat magnums is useless... especially since the zoom was taken away on the magnums. off to the jingle jail with the non believers

Yeah and multi team was awesome too, idk maybe its just me but Swat and Multi team are better than Double Team, Hardcore, BTB ANYTHING, and team Skirmish COMBINED. Come on bungie. The game should be for the players. Not for what the makers prefer. Id rather have a not -so-smooth running Swat than a crisp clean BTB. We realize that its more work for you, Bungie, if a ton of people are playing, and there are more playlists, but suck it up. Your jobs arent that bad. Most people dream of having them. So at least do some good and give us what we want.

Whaaaaat?? I would like to know what bungie is thinking lately. Sure change is inevitable and you should be doing things for the good of the game, but what exactly is with "its not all about popularity" WHAT? This game is for THE PEOPLE WHO PLAY IT. if THE PEOPLE WHO PLAY IT would rather have freaking TEAM SWAT rather than BTB SLAYER, WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO HAVE OUR FREAKING TEAM SWAT. Im pretty sure there are a majority of people who AGREE WITH ME. giving us bullcrap that its not about popularity is ridiculous. We play the game. We make sure the people who make it have jobs. If we want team swat to stay, team swat should stay, end of story.

Yeah! I really hope that they make swat a ranked game again too because it was mad fun. And i wouldn't mind if all the other games came back too because my friends liked to play them but now they all are upset that the games got deleted.

i know alot of people played swat, but what about MULTI TEAM?? thats my favourite, and was definately the most interesting playlist on the menu. they want to spend less money on us guys and slowly drain all of our spirit. then when we're down, they'll bring out halo 3 and expect us to pay through the nose for it. you guys disgust me. we've been playing the same online game for years now, you guys have obviously made an absolute killing from it, why not at least try and keep the regular xbox ppl happy? or maybe even pretend? beaches.

Hey guys,good job with the updates.I kinda liked team swat,but it will be back,patience,kind-of like camping .This wonderful news about all this halo stuff really gets the adrenaline pumping.Cant wait to see that ad,and the talk of halo2 map updates ,oh man thats cool.Also,my 360 will finally pay -off ,when that halo3 beta comes out,sweet.Keep up the good work,peace.

You cannot be serious about keeping SWAT out forever. PLEASE tell me this is only temporary. How can you say the popularity of a certain playlist is not a factor in the decision to remove it? What else are you trying to do other than to keep people interested for a whole year until 3 comes out. Give gamers what they want! The popularity of a gametype should be the overwhelming factor when you guys make these decisions. I know many friends who were sick of Halo until SWAT came along and it was like a whole new game again. You will definitely be losing people. That must be the plan. Hope you don't lose them altogether like to PS3 or something. SWAT is a game unto itself and deserves it's own playlist. Bring Back SWAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is a sick joke. there will be more people playing over the festive period, as well you know. also, if you are interested in reducing the playlist selection, why not remove the least played playlists? this makes much more sense to me. in the last few weeks, you have removed my favourite playlists and told me that new maps are coming out exclusive to the 360 (even tho halo2 is an xbox game?) this is wrong, you guys know this and say that its not your fault, and its microsofts decision. well i say you should at least apologise for selling out to microsoft in the first place. why dont you tell us the real reason for reducing the playlists? people will respect you more if you tell them the truth.

Aren't the holidays the time when people receive game systems and more people are on break from school. this is why more people will play over the holidays, so give us a break Bungie and take away some of the less popular play lists. what is so great about the 360. better graphics and better games but is it really worth like a 500$ update.
