What would get you back into the call of duty franchise.

Make it more like Halo 2

Isn't there a Hot Topic thread on this on the first page?

Every CoD game should be made like MW2. [Edited on 01.05.2013 6:07 PM PST]

stop with the repetitiveness
-
Make it into an Arena Shooter. This is to fix it so I like it. However, it really doesn't need fixing right now as it still sells like crazy.

Copy and paste

Nothing. In fact what I posted in that other thread was more of a "what would Call of Duty have to be like for you not to have stop playing it" type situation going on.

It's too late... ...It can never be fixed!

Innovation.

Here are my points. - Spend at least 2 to 3 years to make it. - If glitch our found make patches for them ASAP - You can never have to much WW2. Show the war they the eyes of the (British,French,Polish, Australians or Chinese) - Don't have that gun that is to good that it's the only weapon everybody uses. - Have a large variety of weapons (Even if they are not from the Modern Warfare era. I would like to run around with a M1 grand. - No more of this COD physics and logic. Make it as realistic as possible.

They have everything going for them. They have a solid structure gameplay while changing a few things to compliment it. They don't make drastic changes because they don't need to, just look at how the Halo series has turned out...

Might've been less time, but still, I've only gotten on at request and not my own will. Platformers need to make a comeback. And I don't mean Mario.

Less emphasis on killstreaks. Remove quickscoping.
-
It's easy. Dedicated servers.
Posted by: MORTO_hi Remove quickscoping.
This x10000 Completely get rid and burn quickscoping/trickshotting and all that other bullcrap and CoD will be fun again.

And I think platformers will make a comeback with indie gaming on the rise, right now I'm having a blast with Mark of the Ninja.

Are they a good or bad kind of thing, or is it a "you just have to try it our for yourself" kind of thing?

Changes to the multiplayer... Treyarch and IW have recycled the same formula for 6 years now. I'm tired of it, and I don't want to pay $60 a year to enjoy the same experience I can have on 5 games I already own. What I want in the multiplayer: - Return of Vehicles - Larger Maps designed for a lot of players - Rework the kill streaks, remove the UAV for one thing or make it a high kill streak reward. - Return of environment terrain (tall grass, bushes, trees) that the player can use for camouflage. Think Overgrown from CoD4/MW2. - Treyarch should make a game that is just Zombies. Campaign, multiplayer, etc. - Call of Duty also needs to return to WWII soon. I miss those campaigns and reliving actual battles from history. Storming Normandy Beach and Berlin was pretty fricken awesome. Until then I will not be purchasing another CoD game. I've made that mistake for too many years now.
-
-Stop overpricing the game every year. All it is is just DLC that comes with a case. Apart from the Campaign, very little changes about the game. This isn't really a fix, but more of a recommendation to Activision to make the series not seem like an blatant cash-cow. It's not really the game's fault why I cannot stand playing the game's Mulplayer, it's because of it's god-awful community. And no matter what they try to do, there's little chance that this will be fixed any time soon. The series cannot be fixed.

More like CoD4 or BO1.

Create a spawning system that promotes map control, kind of like Domination on Nuketown. Create incentive to move around the map, perhaps neutral care packages spawn on set locations. Remove lag compensation. I'm almost tempted to buy the game since Halo 4 still has no ranking structure.
